Perpetua, the pencil at the 18th edition of the Padova Jazz Festival

Perpetua, the pencil at the 18th edition of the Padova Jazz Festival

Co-operation immediately started between Perpetua, the pencil and the Padova Jazz Festival: mutual appreciation and shared values are the basis for an exclusive limited edition.

Co-operation immediately started between Perpetua, the pencil and the Padova Jazz Festival: mutual appreciation and shared values are the basis for an exclusive limited edition.

On this occasion, Perpetua the pencil has been customized as an orange score, the color of the Festival, full of notes: the same notes will resound during the Padova Jazz Festival events to the rhythm and improvisation of international artists.

Perpetua is an innovative item, because it enables you to dispose of it while writing. Not only is it a choice in your writing style, but also and especially a life choice that respects our planet.

Perpetua’s values are now being shared by the eighteenth edition of the Festival, which has become an increasingly important point of reference in Italy and where world-renowned European and overseas talents want to play.

Over the past two decades, the festival has contributed to spark the interest in people for this improvisation-based genre which has its purest expression when played live. Year after year, the event has grown in beautiful Padova, including at imaginative Teatro Verdi, which is increasingly becoming a must-see for jazz lovers. The Festival will not only be about live music, but will also give space to book presentations, photo exhibitions, and other jazz-related events.

The Padova Jazz Festival will celebrate its 18th anniversary in 2015 and, for this reason, who decided to buy tickets for the full festival will receive a special, exclusive present for this year’s edition: “Perpetua ❤ Jazz” is a limited edition of the revolutionary pencil, with an orange look decorated with notes, designed ad hoc to make this edition even more special and unforgettable.

Perpetua, the pencil will be used also by visual artist Anna Piratti and ethnomusicologist Paolo Valentini during their workshop “Paesaggio Sonoro + Arte Postale”, where attendees will be invited to create a visual work from a soundscape.

Music is known to be good for the soul and now, with this new collaboration, it will be good for the environment too.
