Re-think economy forum: what do a pencil and the world of fashion have in common?

Susanna Martucci – CEO e founder di Alisea & Perpetua – e Alice Fortuna – Communication Manager di WRAD parteciperanno a Re-think economy forum per rispondere a questa domanda:

what do a pencil and the world of fashion have in common?

The first partner with which we have made a synergistic partnership is the innovative start-up WRAD. We gave them our g_pwdr technology patent – a treatment based on recycled graphite powder – to use it in the fashion industry.

Apparently nothing, but for us a lot.

Since our foundation, we have set ourselves a goal: to make the world we live in a better place by reinventing materials and production processes. However, we have always been aware that we can not do this alone and, for this reason, we have decided to share over 25 years of experience with those who have our same entrepreneurial DNA.

That is why endorsed by Perpetua was born. It is a brand that allows partner companies of the project to develop new products using Perpetua’s skills, communication, know-how, new technologies and innovative production processes.

After two years of research and development, GRAPHI-TEE ™ was born. It is the first t-shirt in the world treated and dyed with waste graphite powder, the same as Perpetua the pencil.

This is what a pencil and the world of fashion have in common. One element is definitely graphite. But there is not only this.

WRAD has our same entrepreneurial DNA, with them we share values, philosophy and goals.

This is the thing that unites us most of all: the desire to help accelerate the change in production systems with a view to greater and more conscious respect for the environment, the planet and the people who inhabit it.

“No one can do everything, but everyone can do something”.
